Speech Pathology can support you with not only your expressive language (talking), but also how you understand what others are saying (receptive language) and understanding skills such as body language and social skills. This can also include skills such as pragmatic language, asking questions and learning new things from others.
Additionally, Speech Pathologists can support with the assessment, trial and prescription of Assistive Communication Devices for those that have difficulty with communicating with others.
