We love NDIS and can assist you with your plan and goals in a relaxed yet informed way. Seeking support can be daunting, but we strive to ensure all who require support receive it. Bright Eyes has experience with other funding avenues helping you achieve the best possible outcomes.

Our Team

Michael Henry
Occupational Therapist

Michael completed Occupational Therapy at Deakin University and is a local to the Ballarat area. He brings a wide range of experience to many different areas of OT practice including Paediatrics, disability, equipment, home modifications and community work, among others.

Since graduating from Deakin, he has since returned in a lecturer and tutor role, while being a sitting member on the OT advisory board. Michael has extensive experience working at the NDIS during its infancy and roll out in a senior position in the early childhood team.


Areas of interest include fine and gross motor support, sensory difficulties, ABI, neurological conditions and solving any unique issue you may have. Michael is committed to providing you with a personal service and helping you achieve your goals.

Georgia Willersdorf
Occupational Therapist

Georgia completed her Master of Occupational

Therapy at La Trobe University. She has experience working in a specialist education setting and within the NDIS sector – working as a key worker in early childhood early intervention. Her areas of interest include fine motor skill development, sensory processing needs, play development and social skills. Georgia enjoys developing positive relationships with clients and their families, supporting them to achieve their goals. She enjoys working with families to support with Tuning into their kids, emotional development and support, having done additional training here. Outside of work, Georgia enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and baking.

Bella Dodd
Allied Health Assistant

Bella is currently in her fourth year of Occupational Therapy at Deakin University. She is passionate about many areas of occupational therapy including paediatrics and early childhood, disability and community based OT. 
 
Bella values the opportunity to explore new ideas, grow her clinical skills and learn from qualified and experienced OTs within Bright Eyes. 
 
She enjoys working one on one with her clients, setting and achieving goals with them and learning along the way.
 
Alex Cooper
Allied Health Assistant
 
Alex is currently finishing her final year of Speech Pathology at La Trobe University. 
 

Matthew Jamieson
Allied Health Assistant

Matthew is currently in his 2nd year of Physiotherapy at Australian Catholic University in Ballarat.

James Milesi
Speech Pathologist
 

 Jim completed his Master of Speech Pathology at Latrobe University and is a member of Speech Pathology Australia.

He has completed training in the Lidcombe Program, It Takes Two To Talk, and The SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) Approach to Feeding Program. He has worked in private practice and has extensive experience within the NDIS sector, working as a keyworker in early childhood early intervention and as an Early Childhood Coordinator. 

Areas of interest include childhood language, articulation/phonology, fluency and learning disabilities.

 

In addition to Speech Pathology practice, Jim has a Master of Arts (Italian) and has extensive experience as a private tutor of primary, secondary and undergraduate students in LOTE (Italian), English and English Literature.

Gemma Treweek
Allied Health Assistant

Gemma is currently completing her 4th year of Occupational Therapy at Deakin University. Gemma has previously completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences at Deakin University in 2014 and comes from a background of medical administration in orthopaedic rehabilitation and oncology.

Gemma is a Ballarat local and in addition to working as an allied health assistance and studying OT, Gemma is a reformer Pilates teacher and is strong advocate for living an active lifestyle.

 

Amy Waters
Allied Health Assistant

Amy is currently completing her final year of Physiotherapy at Australian Catholic University in Ballarat. With 6 nieces and nephews, she has developed a love of working with kids and the ability to bring joy to each individual child.

Since moving to Ballarat, Amy has explored many areas including paediatrics, disability, community work and equipment trials, among others.

Amy’s areas of interest include Paediatrics, neurological changes and equipment modifications. She loves the challenge of assisting people to reach their individual goals.

Her outside interests include netball, camping, her two pet chickens, and plants. 

 

Caolan Somers
Allied Health Assistant

Caolan is currently completing his third year of Occupational Therapy at Deakin University.
